Fa la la la la, lala

lala!
The countdown has definitely started! One of my favorite part is the pick every years "colors". This is what I came up with. Deep purple (Thanks Martha! via Kmart) and this hot pink ribbon. Love it!

Thanksgiving part II

I love this picture of Coco and Casey during Thanksgiving. Basically after dinner we each found a spot between the dogs and passed out/watched football.
There should be more Thanksgiving peppered throughout the year!

Advent calenders

I am kinda in love with these home made advent calenders. Growing up in Europe, they were sold everywhere starting mid November and may have signaled Xmas kind of how Thanksgiving does in the US. Each little pocket were usually just filled with cheap chocolate, but the fun par was as you tore the little doors a picture would be revealed little by little. So exiting for a little girl!

What would be a fun thing to discover as a grown up?

How are you guys' Xmas? Are you guys ready? Do you have plans? Are you done shopping?

Pics and cleverness from here, here and here.

Little indulgences

From here, here and here

I'm kinda loving these for the holidays... They seem fun without breaking the banks. Maybe Husband NJ will read this? One day? What is your list for the holiday?

Yummy success!

Thanksgiving was a delicious success! Phew!
We made sausage and apple stuffing, deep fried turkey, roasted garlic mash and bread pudding with bourbon sauce. Everything turned out perfect or close to. Next year, more milk in the bread pudding, more garlic in the mash but that's it!
Shout out to my brother for helping out!
Sorry only cell phone photos.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Poor turkey is neither cute nor cuddly therefore sealing its Thanksgiving fate. Have a good one! 'Til next week!
